Live Sales Coaching For Better Real-World Performance

Most salespeople do not need more information. They need better application, better feedback and more consistent execution. Real World Sales Foundations combines live development, practical coaching and accountability between sessions, so what you already know starts showing up reliably in the conversations that decide your month.

The Honest Problem

Knowing More Is Not Always The Answer

★

If you have been selling for a while, you can probably already recite most of the advice. You know you should ask better questions. You know you should follow up properly. You know objections are easier handled calmly than argued with. None of that is new information — and yet the week still gets away from you, and a good month is followed by one you cannot explain.

  • You know you should ask better questions — but you fill the silence instead
  • You know you should follow up — but the awkward ones drift to the bottom of the list
  • You know you should stay consistent — yet the good weeks are the ones with momentum behind them
  • You know objections are handled better calmly — until one lands badly and you rush
  • You know your standards matter — and they quietly slip when nobody checks
  • You know preparation changes the conversation — but you wing the ones you think you can

The gap is rarely knowledge. It is execution. Coaching is what closes the distance between knowing what to do, actually doing it, doing it consistently, doing it under pressure, doing it after rejection, and doing it on the days when motivation is nowhere to be found.

What Coaching Does

Coaching Turns Knowledge Into Behaviour

★

Coaching is not a longer version of being told what to do. It works because it starts with what actually happened in your conversations last week, not with a model on a slide.

  • Identify what is genuinely holding your performance back, rather than the obvious answer
  • Reflect on real conversations while they are still fresh enough to be useful
  • Recognise the patterns you repeat without noticing them
  • Challenge habits that feel comfortable but cost you outcomes
  • Improve self-awareness about how you actually come across to a customer
  • Build standards you hold to on a poor week, not only a good one
  • Stay accountable between sessions, with something specific to apply
  • Recover faster after a setback instead of losing a fortnight to it
  • Apply feedback immediately, in a live conversation, not months later
  • Become more coachable, which is what compounds everything else

Sales Performance

Sales Performance Is Built Between Training Sessions

★

Sales performance training only works if something changes on the days in between. Performance is not one skill; it is the accumulation of how you prepare, how you respond when it goes wrong, and what you do on the third call after a rejection.

Habits and preparation

What you do before the conversation, every time, rather than only when the opportunity looks important enough to justify the effort.

Standards and communication

How you question, listen and respond when the answer is vague — held to the same standard whether it is week one or week twenty.

Emotional response

Confidence, resilience and composure after a no. Most inconsistency in results is an emotional response showing up in a diary two weeks later.

Accountability and reflection are the two that get skipped, and they are the two that decide whether anything from a session survives contact with a busy week.

How It Runs

Live Coaching, Not Passive Content

★

The programme is delivered live and interactively across six weeks. You are in the room with other salespeople working through real situations from their own patch, which is very different from watching a module alone and hoping it sticks.

  • Live sessions rather than pre-recorded modules worked through in isolation
  • Discussion with other salespeople facing the same situations
  • Feedback on what you actually did, not on a hypothetical scenario
  • Real examples brought in from your own accounts and pipeline
  • Structured reflection so a difficult conversation becomes useful information
  • Practical application, with something specific to change before the next session
  • Accountability between sessions, so progress does not depend on motivation
  • A capped group, so nobody sits at the back for six weeks

This is group coaching within a live programme. It is not private one-to-one coaching, and we would rather say that plainly than let you book expecting something else.

Who It Is For

Who Gets The Most From Coaching

★
  • Experienced salespeople whose results are inconsistent month to month
  • Capable salespeople who know they are performing below what they are able to
  • New salespeople who want strong habits before bad ones set in
  • Field salespeople working across appointments and site visits
  • B2B salespeople managing longer buying cycles
  • Phone and telesales salespeople who live on the call quality
  • Direct salespeople selling in the customer's home or at events
  • Sales managers developing individuals in their team
  • Teams that want to become genuinely more coachable
  • Businesses that want more consistent sales behaviours, not one-off enthusiasm

Field and direct salespeople working in front of customers can also read our Face-to-Face Sales Training page.

Which Is Right For You

Coaching, Training Or Team Development

★

Application and performance

If you already know a fair amount and the frustration is that your results do not match your ability, coaching is the right route — feedback, accountability and consistency applied to conversations you are already having.

Skills and structure

If you want the broader skill development and the full week-by-week structure of the programme, our Sales Training UK page sets that out in detail.

If the priority is whole-team standards and consistency across a group of people, our Sales Team Training page covers that. For business-to-business selling skills, longer cycles and multiple decision makers, see B2B Sales Training, and if most of your selling happens on calls, our Phone Sales Training page is the better starting point.

Questions

Sales Coaching FAQs

★

What is sales coaching?

Sales coaching is work on how someone actually sells, rather than what they know about selling. It looks at real conversations they have had, what they did in them, what they avoided, and what they would do differently — then holds them to that next week.

How is sales coaching different from sales training?

Training gives you the skill and the framework. Coaching deals with application: whether you use it under pressure, whether you keep using it after a knock-back, and whether the habit holds when nobody is watching. Our Sales Training UK page covers the broader skill development side of the programme.

Is this live coaching?

Yes. The sessions are live and interactive rather than pre-recorded content you work through alone. People bring real situations from their own accounts, discuss them in the session, get feedback and go away with something specific to apply before the next one. Each live session runs for approximately 90 minutes over Zoom, and the programme is designed to be experienced live, where the discussion, coaching, questions and interaction happen.

Is this suitable for experienced salespeople?

Yes, and experienced sellers often get the most from it. If you already know the theory but your results swing month to month, the gap is rarely knowledge. It is usually consistency, self-awareness and standards under pressure.

Can beginners benefit from sales coaching?

Yes. Newer salespeople build the right habits before bad ones set in, and get feedback on how they actually come across rather than guessing. They also learn to be coachable early, which shortens everything that follows.

Does this help improve sales performance?

The work is on behaviour: preparation, questioning, listening, objection handling, follow-up, resilience and consistency. Those are what change results. We do not promise guaranteed revenue figures — performance follows from what you do differently in real conversations.

Is this suitable for managers and teams?

Yes. Managers use it to develop individuals and to have a standard worth coaching against. If your priority is the whole team working to one shared standard, our Sales Team Training page covers that intent directly.

Does this include 1-to-1 coaching?

No. Real World Sales Foundations is a live group programme, not private one-to-one coaching. You get feedback and discussion inside the live sessions with a capped group, and accountability between them. We do not include unlimited private coaching, and we will not pretend group coaching is one-to-one.

How much does the programme cost?

£599 per person for bookings made before 1 October 2026. Standard programme price £849.

Are sessions recorded?

Every live session is recorded, so if you miss a session or want to revisit part of the coaching, you can catch up using the recording. Recordings will normally be made available within 24–48 hours after each live session. You will have access to the programme recordings throughout the six weeks and for 90 days after the final live session. Programme recordings are for registered participants only and must not be shared or redistributed.

What happens if I miss a live session?

If you miss a live session, you can use the recording to catch up before the following week. The programme is designed to be experienced live wherever possible, but the recordings mean one missed session does not have to leave you behind. If something in the recording raises a question, you can email Roger before the next session. Private one-to-one replacement sessions are not included as standard.

When does the next cohort start?

Founding Cohort places are allocated in booking order. Once your place is secured, your confirmed cohort start date will be sent directly by email with advance notice.
