Sales Team Training UK
Sales Team Training And Coaching For UK Businesses
Your team may not need more information. They may need a stronger shared standard and more consistent execution. Real World Sales Foundations gives a team one framework for attitude, standards, confidence, communication, questioning, objection handling, consistency, coachability and performance — so the way people sell stops depending on who they are and how the week is going.
The Real Problem
A Capable Team Can Still Be An Inconsistent Team
Most managers are not dealing with a team that does not know what a good sales conversation looks like. They are dealing with a team that does it well one week and not the next. Someone has a strong month and then goes quiet. A setback lands and the effort drops for a fortnight. You end up having the same coaching conversation with the same person for the third time, and it starts from scratch each time.
- Inconsistent application — people know the technique but do not use it under pressure
- Different standards across the team, so quality depends on who is in front of the customer
- Emotional dips after rejection or a bad week that show up in the numbers later
- Weak accountability, where slipping standards are noticed but not corrected early
- Poor follow-through on the deals that need one more conversation
- Confidence that rises and falls with momentum rather than holding steady
- Coaching habits that repeat the same points without changing behaviour
- New starters learning a different version of the job from experienced sellers
- Strong individuals who are not creating a strong team culture around them
What To Expect
What The Programme Is Designed To Improve
- More consistent sales behaviours across the whole team, not just the top performers
- Better quality conversations that get to the real issue sooner
- Stronger questioning, with fewer and better questions
- Better listening, including hearing what a vague answer is avoiding
- More confident objection handling without pressure tactics
- Greater resilience after rejection, so a bad day does not become a bad month
- More consistent follow-up on the opportunities that need another conversation
- Better self-awareness about how each person actually comes across
- Improved coachability, so feedback lands and changes something
- A stronger shared standard across the team
We do not promise guaranteed revenue figures. The work is behaviour and standards; the numbers follow from what your team does differently in real conversations. Where individual development, accountability and coachability are the priority for specific people, our Sales Coaching & Performance page covers that side of the work.

For The Decision Maker
Give Managers Something Better To Coach Against
The hardest part of managing a sales team is that every coaching conversation starts from zero. You describe what good looks like, the person agrees, and two weeks later you are describing it again. When the team has been through the same programme, that changes: you are no longer selling your opinion, you are holding people to a standard they already agreed to and can name.
For sales managers, team leaders, sales directors and business owners, that means shorter and more specific one-to-ones, clearer expectations for new starters, and a fair way to talk about performance that is about behaviour rather than personality.

“Now that I manage and train people myself, I look back at Roger’s training differently. I understand how important it is not just to teach someone what to do, but to help them understand why they’re doing it and give them the confidence and mindset to keep improving.”

Which Is Right For You
Team Performance Or B2B Selling Skills
Improving the whole team
If your priority is consistency, standards and performance across a group of salespeople, this page is the right route. Book the places your team needs and everyone works from the same foundations.
Improving business-to-business selling
If the primary need is business-to-business conversations, longer buying cycles and multiple decision makers, our B2B sales training page covers that in detail.
Either way, the delivery is the same 6-week programme, so teams develop through structured live sales course delivery rather than isolated one-off training sessions. The full week-by-week structure is set out on our UK sales training programme page, and teams who sell mainly by phone can read our phone sales training page.

Questions
Sales Team Training FAQs
What is sales team training?
Sales team training develops a whole team against one shared standard rather than coaching each person in isolation. The focus is on how the team prepares, questions, listens, handles objections, follows up and holds its standard when a week goes badly — so performance depends less on individual mood or personality.
Is this suitable for managers booking several people?
Yes. Most team bookings are made by a sales manager, director or business owner on behalf of their team. You book the places you need and everyone goes through the same programme, which is what creates the shared language afterwards.
Can I book multiple team places at once?
Yes. The checkout has an adjustable quantity, so you can secure between 1 and 10 places in a single booking at £599 per person.
Is the programme suitable for mixed-experience teams?
Yes, and mixed teams often get the most from it. New starters build the foundations properly the first time, and experienced sellers work on the gap between knowing what to do and doing it consistently. Both leave describing the job the same way.
Does this include sales coaching?
Sessions are live and interactive rather than pre-recorded, so people bring real situations from their own accounts and work through them in the session. It also gives managers an agreed standard to coach against between sessions.
Is this only for B2B teams?
No. The foundations apply to field, direct, telesales, inside-sales and event sales teams as well as B2B. If your priority is specifically business-to-business selling skills, our B2B sales training page covers that intent.
Can phone or telesales teams join?
Yes. Telesales, appointment-setting and inside-sales teams can book together. Our phone sales training page sets out how the same foundations apply on calls.
What does the programme focus on?
Attitude, standards, confidence, communication, questioning, listening, objection handling, resilience, coachability and consistency — applied to the conversations your team is already having.
How is the programme delivered?
Sales team training is delivered through Real World Sales Foundations, a 6-week live programme with one 90-minute online session each week over Zoom. Sessions are live and interactive rather than pre-recorded, and groups are capped at 20 people. The programme is designed to be experienced live, where the discussion, coaching, questions and interaction happen.
Are sessions recorded?
Every live session is recorded, so if someone misses a session or a team wants to revisit part of the training, they can catch up using the recording. Recordings will normally be made available within 24–48 hours after each live session. Access continues throughout the six weeks and for 90 days after the final live session. Programme recordings are for registered participants only and must not be shared or redistributed.
What happens if a team member misses a live session?
If a team member misses a live session, they can use the recording to catch up before the following week. The programme is designed to be experienced live wherever possible, but the recordings mean one missed session does not have to leave anyone behind. If something in the recording raises a question, they can email Roger before the next session. Private one-to-one replacement sessions are not included as standard.
How much does team training cost?
£599 per person for bookings made before 1 October 2026. Standard programme price £849. The same price applies to individual and team bookings.
When does the next cohort start?
Founding Cohort places are allocated in booking order. Once places are secured, your confirmed cohort start date will be sent directly by email with advance notice.
