Sales Training UK
Sales Training UK Built Around Real-World Sales Foundations
Real World Sales Academy delivers practical sales training in the UK through Real World Sales Foundations — a live 6-week sales course built around real sales conversations and real selling environments. It is suitable for individuals, business teams and people looking for structured sales training for beginners. No hype, no scripts, no pressure tactics. Just the foundations that hold up in real sales conversations, face to face and on the phone.
Real Sales Environments
Practical Sales Training For Real Sales Environments
Most sales training in the UK is built around theory, slides or scripts. Real-world sales training starts somewhere else: with the detail of how a conversation actually goes when the customer is hesitant, distracted or already saying no. Every session is taught live, drawn from UK doorstep, field, retail, phone and B2B sales environments, and every lesson gives you something you can use in your next conversation.
Who It Is For
Who This Sales Training Is For
- People new to sales, including those with no previous sales experience, who want structured sales training for beginners
- Salespeople who are performing inconsistently and want reliable foundations
- Anyone moving into a customer-facing or field sales role in the UK
- Business owners who sell their own service and want to do it more calmly
- Sales managers who want a shared standard across their team
- Call centre, phone sales and face-to-face teams booking three or more places
The Difference
What Makes Real World Sales Foundations Different
Foundations, not scripts
You learn why conversations move the way they do, so you can adapt instead of reciting lines that stop working the moment a customer goes off-script.
Live sales coaching UK-wide
Each of the six weeks is taught live over Zoom with discussion and direct feedback, capped at 20 people per group so your own situations get covered.
Honest about the work
No income claims, no overnight transformation. Sales performance comes from standards, resilience and repetition, and the programme is built to develop exactly that.
Both Environments
Face-To-Face And Phone Sales Training
Face-to-face sales training
Presence, first impressions, reading body language and holding a calm conversation in someone's home, on a stand or across a desk. You learn how to open without pressure and how to keep control of the conversation without taking it from the customer — explored further on our Face-to-Face, Field & Direct Sales Training page.
Phone sales training UK
Tone, pace, listening and questioning when body language is not available. You learn how to earn the first thirty seconds, handle early brush-offs honestly and move a call forward without sounding rehearsed — covered in more depth on our Phone Sales & Telesales Training page. If you sell to other businesses, our B2B sales training page covers how the same foundations apply to longer business buying cycles. If you are developing a whole team, our Sales Team Training & Coaching page covers shared standards and consistency across the team. If you want more emphasis on feedback, accountability, implementation and performance rather than skills development alone, our Sales Coaching UK page covers that side of the programme.

Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the best sales training in the UK for beginners?
The right training should give a beginner structure, confidence and a clear process without assuming previous experience. Real World Sales Foundations is designed as a live sales course for beginners as well as developing salespeople, so someone with no previous sales experience can start building real conversation skills from week one.
Do I need sales experience to join?
No. You do not need previous sales experience to join. The programme starts with the foundations of real sales conversations and builds progressively, so it is suitable for people entering sales as well as people already working in sales.
How long is the sales training programme?
The programme runs for 6 weeks, with one live online session each week. Each live weekly session runs for approximately 90 minutes and is delivered online via Zoom. Live evening groups run Sunday, Monday and Tuesday at 7:00pm, and each group is capped at 20 people so the training stays practical and interactive. The programme is designed to be experienced live, where the discussion, coaching, questions and interaction happen.
Does this sales training cover phone sales and face-to-face sales?
Yes. The foundations, structure and frameworks apply to both phone sales training and face-to-face sales training. You learn how to open, ask better questions, handle objections and guide the conversation in either environment.
Do you offer sales training for teams and businesses in the UK?
Yes. Teams pay the same Founding Cohort price of £599 per person as individuals, against a standard programme price of £849. Teams of three to ten places can be booked on the apply page, and team questions can be sent to admissions@rwsauk.uk.
Is this sales coaching or a sales course?
It is both. It is a live sales course delivered in real time, with weekly coaching and discussion rather than pre-recorded video, so you can ask questions about your own real sales situations and get direct, honest feedback.
Are sessions recorded?
Every live session is recorded, so if you miss a session or want to revisit part of the training, you can catch up using the recording. Recordings will normally be made available within 24–48 hours after each live session. You will have access to the programme recordings throughout the six weeks and for 90 days after the final live session. Programme recordings are for registered participants only and must not be shared or redistributed.
What happens if I miss a live session?
If you miss a live session, you can use the recording to catch up before the following week. The programme is designed to be experienced live wherever possible, but the recordings mean one missed session does not have to leave you behind. If something in the recording raises a question, you can email Roger before the next session. Private one-to-one replacement sessions are not included as standard.
Why is the programme delivered live?
Because sales is not something you learn properly by watching videos alone. Live sessions allow us to discuss real situations, challenge thinking, answer questions and apply the training to what is actually happening in your sales role. The recordings are there as a safety net and revision tool, but the main value of the programme comes from taking part live.
Why is the programme spread over six weeks?
Because we don't want you to hear everything once and forget half of it by Monday. The six-week structure gives you time to learn something, take it into real sales conversations, notice what happens, and then come back ready to build on it. The spacing is part of the learning process.
How much does the sales training programme cost?
The Founding Cohort price is £599 per person for individuals and teams alike, available for bookings made before 1 October 2026. The standard programme price is £849. Refund requests can be made by email to admissions@rwsauk.uk within 14 calendar days from payment.
